Ingredients:
1 cup steel cut oats
2 1/2 cups of water
1 apple (peeled, cored and diced)*
2 tsp cinnamon
1 pinch of salt
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
1 - 2 TBSP pure maple syrup (optional)
Directions:
Add all ingredients (except the maple syrup) to the pot
Cover, close the pressure cook valve and set to Pressure Cook High for 7 minutes.
Allow the pressure cook valve to slow release (wait for it to drop down indicating the pot has cooled somewhat).
Remove cover, stir and add a drizzle of maple syrup if desired. Makes 4 servings.
*You can add any type of fruit into the oats and they’re equally delicious.
