Air Fryer Cajun Shrimp
I still have clients who don’t know what to do with their air fryer and we are literally using ours daily, so I have to share another recipe.
If you like shrimp, you’ll love them in the air fryer. This recipe is so ridiculously simple and delicious. The hardest part was thawing the shrimp and taking the shells off them.
Our air fryer has a picture of a shrimp on it so there was zero thinking on my part while cooking, but I do know that air fryers vary so I’m giving you the actual temperature and cook time below.
Most of the machines also have a “shake” feature that signals you when it’s time to shake or flip your food. If you don’t have this feature you can set a timer for halfway through your cook time or let the food cook without the shake. It still comes out great without the shake.
With most foods I put into the air fryer, I often season on both sides but I was being lazy and just added the cajun seasoning to one side and they were delicious.
Ingredients:
1 pound of frozen shrimp, thawed and shells removed
1 - 2 tsp blackened cajun seasoning
Directions:
Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400.
Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the preheated air fryer and add seasoning to taste. The more you add the spicier your shrimp will be.
Cook on 370 degrees for 6 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Enjoy with a salad or some sauteed vegetables and you have a super healthy, low calorie meal that tastes amazing and is really easy to make.
