Winterfest is Back!

Winterfest in Easthampton, MA is happening now through February 11th and there are a variety of activities for every age!

It’s organized by the Nashawannuck Pond Steering Committee and is held as both a fundraiser for the continued health of Nashawannuck Pond and to bring the community together.

This post is being listed in fitness and fun because many of the events encourage us to get outside, engage with our kids or grandkids, use our brains, our talents, laugh, learn, play and have fun.

There are several contests for adults and kids to participate in together including:

  • Naming Mt. Tom Ice Cream’s next newest flavor

  • Making the best snowflake of the year, and

  • Sharing the best photo of Nashawannuck Pond

There’s an open skate at Williston School’s Lossone Rink, swing dancing and salsa lessons happening in the Keystone Building, ice sculptures, horse drawn carriage rides, crafts, bingo, magicians, movies, and demonstrations of all kinds and for all ages.

There are so many things happening I couldn’t possibly list them all here, so instead I recommend going directly to the Pond’s Winterfest site to check out their extensive list of activities.

It’s a great way to get out during the winter and enjoy a variety of fun activities with family and friends.

Contest and activity dates vary but Winterfest will be officially over after the Deca-Dance Gala on February 11th.
