Use Your Mind to Heal Your Body

Our brains our incredibly powerful tools when we use them to help improve the quality of our lives. Unfortunately, they can also keep us very stuck in certain areas of our life when we are not taking full advantage of the possibilities.

Meditation and affirmations can be used to help us to address our areas of stuckness by shifting our subconscious programing. This is important because our subconscious is where many of our decisions are made, and we’re not even aware of it!

Last week we discovered the Heal Your Body with Your Mind positive affirmations audio file on Youtube and have been listening to it every night for the past 5 days. It’s designed to help us heal our body, mind and spirit by listening with earphones while letting approximately 50 repeating, positive statements settle into both our conscious and subconscious mind.

You can listen to them anytime but I have been enjoying them nightly before I go to bed because it’s a really soothing and restful way to end the day. Whenever you decide to try it out, let yourself experience it at a time that works for you so that your more likely to make it a daily habit.

Anything new that we do takes some practice to become a habit but almost always, we feel better once the habit is established and we can simply enjoy the benefits.
