Apex Orchard
If you’re looking for a beautiful spot to walk, take in some amazing views of Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts mountains, and access a great variety of fruits, vegetables and specialty items, Apex Orchard is the place to visit.
This is our favorite orchard. It feels like a wonderful outdoor candy store because of the outstanding views and the variety of so many delicious fruit options.
We went last week and came home with Asian and red pears, peaches and Gala apples. The fruit in-season is so sweet it’s actually preferable to other dessert options (most of the time 😊).
You can pick your own or purchase fruit that’s been picked for you. There are gorgeous fields of sunflowers, row upon row of different types of apples, picnic tables to hang out at, and even tractor rides and coffee/food vendors (on the weekends)
The leaves are starting to turn which makes the trip even more pleasant and the grounds are a joy to walk around. The apple rows are also the neatest I’ve even been in and the fruit is super easy to pick.
It was hard to decide whether to put this post into fitness and fun or stress relief and mindfulness because it’s so relaxing and easy to be present here. This is true on weekdays. There’s much more going on during weekend visits.
Looking out over the massive fields to the miles of mountains creates an easy sort of peace. Walking through the fields of apples and sunflowers made me feel joyful.
I highly recommend this orchard for anyone who enjoys outstanding views, amazing fruit and a peaceful walk in the countryside.
While posting these pictures, I felt as though they don’t come close to doing this orchard justice. It may be something you just have to see for yourself.
I hope you choose to check it out. It really is extraordinary.
The address is: 225 Peckville Rd, Shelburne Falls, MA 01370

Once again, I encourage you to go outside while you can.
It doesn’t matter where you go, just enjoy some of the foliage and outstanding October weather and scenery.
We live in such a beautiful area and have so many incredible places to visit right in our own “backyards”.
